Temperament & HabitsBriarmask is over all, warm and considerably thoughtful in regards to others. She goes into interactions with a positive outlook on the individual she interacts with the majority or the time, and it is difficult to get on her bad side without persistent and intentional aggravation. She will usually disregard reputation in favor for her own impression of a cat, keeping it in mind but not letting the words of others affect her initial view for the majority of the time, she makes an honest attempt to sympathize despite her struggles in the field.ㅤꨄ︎ She will wrap her tail around her hind leg when anxious, upset, or anything of the like, a persistent habit that she draws small security from.
ㅤꨄ︎ When startled, she will automatically squeeze her eyes shut, although this has improved in the later moons.
ㅤꨄ︎ She has an encyclopedic knowledge of emotions and the indicators that go with them, so when the indicators for a certain emotion does not match what someone is feeling, she will fail to recognize it. (Eg. someone smiling while crying)

Disorders & ConditionsBriarmask has the disorder Alexythemia, categorized as a difficulty in understanding, reading, and expressing emotion. Briarmask herself has the hardest time in understanding others’ and her own emotions, having less difficulty in outwardly expressing hers with the experience she’s gained in her life, but there are still some things she has a hard time conveying clearly. She has improved her knowledge of emotion, but that knowledge is still rather limited compared to many of those around her.She also has Photophobia, which is a sensitivity to light in her eyes. Light gives her migraines, eye pain, and sometimes nausea. Due to this, she likes to avoid sunny areas if she can help it.

Factsꨄ︎ She has poor circulation, so despite her fluffy coat, she gets cold rather easily.
ꨄ︎ In her youth, she used to avidly avoid children because of their unpredictability, but she now loves them after having her own.

ꨄ︎ She is well aware of how introverted she is, and actively tries to step out of her comfort zone whenever she can, although one day she may have a heart attack because of that.

ㅤꨄ︎ She really appreciates manners and good character, if your character comes to her as someone who possesses either, they will be far more likely to get in her good graces. This goes for punishments and things of similar nature as well, she will judge your character far less harshly than she would if they were defensive or disrespectful.

How her more uncommon emotions are shownㅤꨄ︎ When angry, she is a force to be reckoned with. Do not speak, your words will be twisted back into your gut like a knife, your head will beg you to stop because of the pounding, and your ego will be permanently chipped. She doesn’t get mad often, but when she does you better steer clear. It’s similar when she’s stressed out, only when she’s stressed she will make an effort not to take it out on the people around her.
ㅤꨄ︎ When in an especially good mood, she may be clingy, energetic, far too much, talkative, and bubbly. It’s as if she had a caffeine boost.
ㅤꨄ︎ When sad, she doesn’t know how to handle it, so she stuffs it down until she can silently cry herself to sleep, you will likely never see her like this.
